{"id":257,"date":"2011-11-10T15:56:40","date_gmt":"2011-11-10T15:56:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olewarskule.lsu.edu\/?p=257"},"modified":"2012-09-25T16:02:16","modified_gmt":"2012-09-25T16:02:16","slug":"12-inducted-into-military-hall-of-honor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/olewarskule.lsu.edu\/?p=257","title":{"rendered":"12 Inducted into Military Hall of Honor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As the nation celebrated Veterans Day 2011, LSU paid tribute to its military history at LSU Salutes, sponsored by LSU and Cadets of the Ole War Skule.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the weekend-long celebration, Nov. 10-12, a dozen six distinguished alumni were inducted into the military Hall of Honor during ceremonies at the LSU War Memorial on the Parade Ground.<\/p>\n<p>The inductees were, seated from left, John Laborde, representing the family of the late Norman V. Kinsey; Dr. Dexter A. Gary; Charles (Mary) McCowan, representing her late father, Paul M. Hebert, Sr.; Phyllis Love Mayo, representing her late father, Lloyd F. Love; James Brown, representing his late father, LTC Ralph T. Brown; and Lt Col Ralph W. Stephenson, Jr.; standing from left, Greg Dalferes, representing his late father, George L. J. Dalferes; Richard D. Chappuis, Jr., representing his late father, COL Richard D. Chappuis, Sr.; Judge Billy H. Ezell; Captain Karl F. Weiss; Stephen Chappuis, representing his late father, BG Steve A. Chappuis; and Lane A.
